THIS YEAR THE FESTIVAL FORMAT IS MOSTLY DIGITAL RATHER THAN PHYSICAL.
Due to the pandemic, instead of the traditional physical events, the 2020 Oyster Festival will be mostly virtual while still honoring the tradition of fundraising for local charities and supporting local restaurant businesses in Oyster Bay. A restaurant week is planned to run week-long for the local community to enjoy fresh oysters and mouthwatering dishes.
You can still watch and cheer on the much heralded Oyster Eating and Shucking Contests from the safety of your mobile device or home computer. Please continue to check out our website frequently to stay up to date and access special web-based cyber festival events!
