Beyond The Badge NY is a New York based 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that was created by two local law enforcement officers, as they felt the need to address the mental health crisis that the law enforcement community is currently facing.
The Mission of Beyond The Badge NY is to reduce the growing epidemic of law enforcement suicides and break the stigma surrounding officers coming forward for help and/or mental health treatment. We want to spotlight a positive image for those who see strength in seeking help or assist a fellow officer to find help. Many forget that police service is more than the badge we wear on our shirts.
